 Starting Therapy: Evaluation and Treatment Plan

Before beginning therapy, an evaluation is required to assess the individual's specific needs. This evaluation provides valuable insight into the areas that require attention, helping us tailor a treatment plan that best supports the individual. The frequency and duration of therapy sessions are determined based on clinical findings and the recommendations of our clinicians.


We conduct annual re-evaluations to ensure that therapy goals remain relevant, up-to-date, and appropriate for the client’s progress. Discharge from therapy typically occurs when the client has successfully met their goals.


Speech therapy is considered a skilled, medically necessary service. To achieve optimal progress, consistent and regular visits are essential. Our speech services are available year-round to ensure continuous support.

Insurance Verification and Financial Responsibility

Before your initial visit, we will contact your insurance provider to verify eligibility and benefits. This allows us to determine what services are covered by your plan and provide you with an estimate of your financial responsibility. Please note that eligibility and benefits verification does not guarantee payment by your insurance company.


We strive to ensure that we have the most accurate and up-to-date information available.

Please be aware that insurance coverage is typically subject to deductibles, copayments, and/or coinsurance.


Our administrator is present from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.    


 Our clinicians treat Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.     Friday hours are limited.    We are not open on Saturdays or Sundays.


Staff may reschedule on Saturdays or complete evaluations by appointment on Saturdays.    We are not routinely open on Saturdays.  


No. Evaluations are required one time per year. If your child was evaluated elsewhere, we can utilize this evaluation to create the care plan. If you feel that evaluation was not sufficient, we can certainly plan formal or informal evaluations.


We offer services at private pay rates.  We also offer package deals at discounted rates.    Please contact us directly for these rates.


 Superbill and Self-Submission Process

A superbill is provided when you pay our private pay rate for services. Once we receive payment, we will issue the superbill with the necessary information for you to submit the claim directly to your insurance company. Please note that your insurance company will reimburse you at the rate they cover for speech therapy services, which may be equal to or less than our private pay rate.


We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your eligibility and benefits, and be sure to ask whether prior authorization is required for self-submission.


 Please note, we are not providers for MassHealth.


No, we do not provide services in your home. We only offer services in our clinic(s) and via tele therapy.


Yes, you can receive services at our facility along with your EI Provider. 


We will call to verify eligibility and benefits from early intervention services as coverage may vary. 


 We will conduct an independent evaluation to assess eligibility for speech therapy services. Please note that outpatient speech therapy services are subject to different guidelines than those followed by school districts. 


 Yes, we currently offer tele therapy services. This is subject to change based off insurance coverage. 


Yes, we specialize in comprehensive diagnostics to help support your child's needs at school. Please contact us directly for more information. 


Yes. However, we are limited in the 65+ population. We do not accept Medicare.


Typically, we only provide services for clients in our clinic(s).
